The Custodial Corps Bill Validation Workshop
Hargeisa- The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Somaliland held a three day validation workshop on the Custodial Corps Bill.
The three-day meeting which was held at Ambassador Hotel in Hargeisa in collaboration with UNSOM was attended by officials from government agencies such as members of the Custodial corps, lawyers from the Ministry of Justice, the Supreme Court, attorney general, the Ministry of Parliamentary and Constitutional Affairs and the Parliamentary sub-Committee.
Taking part in the workshop were also Members of UN agencies such as UNDP, UNSOM, UNODC and UNICEF who were participating both online and directly due to restrictions still in place due to COVID-19
The Bill focused on allowing clear and transparent management and leadership for Custodial Corps services
